Carl M Smith

Bio

Carl M. Smith is an American artist and musician who has been active in Europe for over 20 years. He plays a mix of cover and original songs whose lyrics often reflect upon his many travels as well as his years growing up in Santa Fe New Mexico. Between the songs he tells stories, humorous anecdotes, and a bit of background about what inspired the songs he has written.

Coming from an Americana, Blues, Western, and Rock'N Roll background musically, Smith uses his voice, guitar, and harmonica together with an energetic intensity that have made him known for delivering entertaining live shows. The additon of some subtle guitar effects also gives him the possiblitily to take the songs into slightly abstract atmospheric places one might not expect from a singer songwriter.
